Yesterday by Akindele Akinyemi

Yesterday, the Democratic Party used slavery and race to keep Black people divided.

Today, they still USE race to keep us divided.

Yesterday, the Democratic Party did not vote to support equal educational access in 1954.

Today, they still are blocking equal educational access by blocking educational options.

Yesterday, The Democratic Party used unions as a form of control of the votes in the inner cities.

Today, they STILL use unions to control the vote.

Yesterday, the Democratic Party blocked Blacks and Whites to intermarry.

Today, they still are blocking marriage by turning down an marriage amendment.

Yesterday, the Democratic Party tore down Rosewood 1923, Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921 and even Black Bottom in Detroit, MI.

Today, they are STILL blocking wealth creation for African Americans.

Yesterday, the Democratic Party did not vote on the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments.

Today, they STILL do not want Blacks to be free.

Yesterday, the Democrats supported Woodstock in 1969 and the hippie-movement.

Today, they support the gay and lesbian movement.

Yesterday, the Democrats supported the notion of free sex in our country.

Today, they STILL support this notion.

Yesterday, the Democratic Party created a welfare state to have the poor people dependent on the system.

Today, they STILL are creating a slave state through welfare.

Yesterday, the Democratic Party supported Roe v. Wade to kill black children.

Today, they STILL support killing black children.

Yesterday, the Democratic Party took the black vote for granted.

Today, nothing has changed.

Yesterday, Former President Jimmy Carter nose-dived the economy.

Today, Governor Jennifer Granholm has done the same thing in Michigan.

Yesterday, Former Governor Jim Blanchard turned his back on Detroit.

Today, Jennifer Granholm has done the same.

Yesterday, Former Mayor Coleman Young(D-Detroit) used race to win elections.

Today, Kwame Kilaptrick(D-Detroit) has done the same.

My point...the Democratic Party has done nothing different to help us so why do we continue to vote Democrat?

that's mr bush..i don't agree with everything the president says.

as far as spying the NSA have been doing this for ages..get over it.
