Voice The Vote Are Moving Full Speed Ahead by Akindele Akinyemi

The Michigan Legislative Black Caucus have spoken.

They demand an apology from Voice the Vote's Nataki Harbin for the so-called racist ad that ran in the Michigan Chronicle this week.

They're talking about this ad below:

They want an apology for comapring the Democratic Party to Hitler and the Nazi Party.

Of course, Ms. Harbin stood her ground and told them she will NOT apologize nor back down and there are more to come.

Well hell, the Democratic Party promotes covert socialism. If you think I'm lying ask any Democrat why they do not support free trade?

The Nazi Party were socialists themselves. Therefore, Ms. Harbin is correct to place such an ad next to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a Democrat who supported lynching of Blacks and started welfare in urban communites. Like Ms. Harbin pointed out BOTH Hitler and FDR would not even shake hands with Jesse Owens.

Is this racist to compare Hitler to Granholm? Hell no.

Jobs are being lost under Granholm's watch. Here are a few pointers for the record:

In 2005, Michigan lost residents to other parts of the country more rapidly than any other year since 2000 (Detroit News, 1/9/06).

United Van Lines reports that they have seen the highest rate of one-way moves out of Michigan since 1982 (Escanaba Daily Press, 2/8/06).

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, a jobs fair in Detroit for displaced refugees was flooded by unemployed locals (Detroit News, 9/27/05).

In 2005, Michigan ranked 48th in the nation in personal income growth (Bureau of Economic Analysis, 3/28/06).

In 2005 89,473 Michigan citizens filed for bankruptcy. This represented an all-time high in filings (Detroit Free Press, 9/18/05).

From February 2004 to February 2006, the rate of home foreclosures in Michigan doubled to rate that is 2.5 times higher than the national average (Muskegon Chronicle, 2/27/06).
Including Washington DC, Michigan ranks 51st in the nation in home values (CNN Money, 12/1/05).

Polls have consistently shown that nearly 70% of Michigan citizens believe the state is NOT heading in the right direction (EPIC/MRA).

Despite Honda Motor Company announcing they would be locating a new plant in the Midwest, creating 2,000 jobs while the governor was in Japan. Though the governor was in Japan, Granholm did not meet with the Japanese based company's executives, because as she said on the Paul W. Smith Show on May 17, 2006, she was "totally booked."

In the month that Jennifer Granholm took her trip to Japan, MICHIGAN LOST 19,200 JOBS! (Bureau of Labor Statistics).

The United States unemployment rate is 4.6%, Michigan's is 6% (Bureau of Labor Statistics).
Since Jennifer Granholm has become governor, Michigan has lost 89,000 jobs!! The rest of the country? Well, they've gained 5 million jobs (Bureau of Labor Statistics).

Michigan's unemployment rate ranked 13th in the country when Granholm took office, it is now the 4th highest (Bureau of Labor Statistics).

In 2005, Michigan was the only state not hit by Hurricane Katrina that lost lobs (Escanaba Daily Press, 2/8/06).

In May 2006 alone, Michigan lost 19,200 jobs. Michigan was the only state not ravaged by a hurricane to lose jobs (Bureau of Labor Statistics).

Manufacturing makes up 19% of Indiana's economy. The state's unemployment rate is 4.9%. Manufacturing makes up 18% of Wisconsin's economy. The states unemployment rate is 4.8%. But manufacturing makes up only 16% of Michigan's economy, and the state's unemployment rate is 6% (Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor and Economic Growth).

Since Jennifer Granholm became Governor, the State of Alabama created nearly 14,000 automotive manufacturing jobs. This marked a 43% increase in the automotive manufacturing in that state and can be attributed to the state's attracting 29 automotive plans in the past two years (Mobile Register, 2/17/06).

According to a recent report by the Small Business Foundation of Michigan, the state received a despicable grade of "D" in supporting in-state business growth. (Detroit News, 6/14/06).

Since Governor Granholm announced her "Jobs Today, Jobs Tomorrow Plan" Michigan has lost 34,200 jobs (Bureau of Labor Statistics).

Since Granholm has been in office, the Michigan Business Activity Index has fallen from 117 to 102 (Comerica Bank, 4/06).

Why should we vote Democrat just because? And what has Granholm done for Detroit and Michigan? Acted like Hitler!!!!!!!

Sorry, but Voice the Vote got my vote when it comes to telling the truth.

Keep going Nataki!!!!!
