As we are monitoring the situation in Indianapolis, Indiana with the Mayoral races going on down there it is necessary for conservatives down there to knock on doors and get the message out by all means necessary. My sister, Attorney Darla Williams, has been on the case and have been providing me with key information about current Mayor Bart Peterson.
Speaking of Peterson, not only this guy needs to burn in hell, but he is in Indianapolis giving charter schools a bad name. For example, Peterson has a new TV ad on charters. While Peterson claims that he "is the nation's only mayor with the authority to issue charters for new public schools" we know that this statement stinks to high hell in a hand basket.
Charter schools are established by state law. Not a local government action from the Mayor. So what gives?
In 2001, the Indiana legislature granted the Mayor of Indianapolis the authority to issue public school charters to nonprofit entities as part of broader charter school legislation. Mayor Peterson, a Democrat who has served as mayor since 2000, enthusiastically embraced the authority and the idea of public charter schooling.
But here is the hook.
Within the TV ad that Peterson is in he fails to mention about the charter school in the ad. The name of the school is called the Flanner House and was found to have embezzled around $700,000 in funds, fudging their ISTEP scores, having fewer than 50 students vs a reported 168 or so, offering some college-prep subjects like 'knitting' and 'sign language.
So we know for a fact that this is a Mayor that is giving charters a bad name. As an pro-charter proponent I know the quality if good charter schools and as long as we have politicians who stick their hand in the cookie jar of charters we know they will end up like Detroit Public Schools.
The other thing about this Bart Peterson is how crime has spiked in Indianapolis. I am telling you every single time a Democrat run a urban city it moves in the direction of Detroit. Peterson says crime is down. Take a look for yourself.
You will note that every category except 'assault' has gone up since Bart took over the mayor's office.
Data from the above table, charted by each category of crime so the trend in each one can be easily seen
I always ask why are urban cities under this party tends to do worse than their Republican counterparts?
A list of the safest and most dangerous cities in the United States:
|OVERALL: (371 cities)|
MOST DANGEROUS 25:
Brick Township, NJ
St. Louis, MO
Mission Viejo, CA
Coral Springs, FL
Thousand Oaks, CA
Round Rock, TX
Lake Forest, CA
Sterling Heights, MI
Kansas City, MO
Simi Valley, CA
Lee's Summit, MO
Broken Arrow, OK
North Charleston, SC
Chino Hills, CA
Edison Township, NJ

Port St. Lucie, FL
Meanwhile, Troy, MI is the 5th safest city in the United States. This is a REPUBLICAN controlled city.
When asked about why must the Democratic Party control the large urban areas and those urban areas are transformed into urban ghettos I never, ever receive an answer from any Democrat who is an elected offical or activist. They cannot answer nor refute the fact that the every party they belong to has failed black people for decades.
I cannot make it plan and simple and put this in black and white but the Democrats are just using the black vote to gain power and black clergy and black churches are being bought off by powerful unions to keep us on a plantation that uses deception, race and manipulation to keep us from ever educating ourselves on the whole political process. How come you think students only get 1/2 semester of CIVICS? This is not a coincindence and this is done purposely to keep our children blinded to the reality that faces them.
The Democrats use race baiting in all of their campaigns to keep blacks angry. Instead of viewing things from a logical point of view they use the black preacher in the ghetto to stir up the race pot and dish out race cards to keep poor blacks in a victim mindstate. This is not a coincidence.
No wonder Mayor Peterson's 7 years in Indianapolis has been a nightmare for working families. Taxes going up while jobs are leaving. Our conservatives brothers and sisters down there must stand strong and elect Greg Ballard as the next mayor of Indianapolis.
