Huckabee In The Lead by Akindele Akinyemi

As you can see Gov. Mike Huckabee has surged into the lead in a new national poll for the Republican Presidential Nomination.

I endorsed this man publicly a week ago because I strongly felt that he was the candidate this party needed to bring some form of balance back to the Republican Party. Anyone who can gain 48% of the Black vote in Arkansas deserves to be in the White House. With the immediate threat of Hillary Clinton having 85% of the Black vote so far under her belt we need a candidate that can cut that vote right in half.

That is Mike Huckabee.

Blacks are also endorsing this man for President. I have been hearing around the State of Michigan that they are beginning to resonate with Huckabee and some are even considering leaving both the Romney camp and the McCain camp to join me on the Huckabee trail.

Here is a man who resonates in our community because of his stance of upholding core Christian values in our society. Just by him being a former Baptist pastor he would net some points with the urban community. His platform on health care is outstanding and can relate to African Americans because Huckabee himself is diabetic. Come one now, how many people do we know in our community is diabetic (including your immediate family members)? I am not saying that you should vote for him because he is diabetic but think about what type of policy he is willing to support if he was President. Guilani and Romney have taken notice and I guess the both of them will tag team to try to throw mud at this Christian minister of God. Well, they threw mud at Jesus Christ and crucified him when people found out that he was the Son of God so they will do the same thing at Huckabee.

Huckabee is ahead of Clinton in Arkansas and in fact Obama is gaining ground on Clinton. He is only 10 percentage points behind Clinton in recent national polls. I strongly believe that neither can beat Huckabee because with the high level of immorality and people being taxed to death people are seriously looking for a candidate that can address their needs. African Americans should take a good look at this man who would promote a FairTax, promote educational options and lead this country by a Christian example.

That would be Gov. Mike Huckabee. Please join me as we promote a new leader to lead our country that believe in the same values as we do in the urban community.

My brother, a couple of points about Huckabee.

1) Huckabee became Governor after Tucker (Clinton's former Lt. Gov.) was indicted. The fact that Huckabee received nearly half the Black vote in Arkansas is as much about the previous Governor's corruption as anything else.

2) It's pretty well known that Rudy and Huckabee are (in fact) teaming up against Romney (in Iowa), rather than Rudy and Romney teaming up again Huckabee.
