Obama Vs. McCain: Who Would Win? By Akindele Akinyemi

Some are asking me if I would be willing to support Sen. John McCain for President over Sen. Barack Obama. The answer is yes.

The same way I support Gov. Mike Huckabee over Obama is the same way I support McCain over Obama. It is not rocket science.

Here is why.

While I am no true fan of John McCain he is still a moderate conservative. You can disagree with his views but this guy will come out better than Obama. Again, most Blacks are supporting Obama because of his skin color. To me, he has not said anything other than giving great speeches and talking about change.

Whatever.

We do not need a candidate who is promting universal health care. People deserve the same level of health care that is provided to members of Congress and not the so-called universal health care and socialized medicine espoused by both Sen. Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton.

The American people should not support or vote for the Democratic candidates for President of the United States who support universal and socialized medicine and who want the government to control our health care. It's just this simple: If the government controls your health care, the government controls you. The true path to reform of our health care system lies in preventive health care and the private sector, not government. But if people are in charge of their own health care, how can politicians use the threatened loss of that health care as a scare tactic in elections? Ladies and Gentlemen, that is the secret. The Presidential candidates who support universal and socialized medicine want to control you AND YOUR VOTES by making you dependent on a health care system that is flawed and is not designed to maintain or improve your health.

The universal and socialized health care game against the American people is simple. The supporters of this scam work tirelessly to make Americans more and more dependent on government. The supporters of this scam want to destroy American's individuality and their sense of self worth and make them believe that America is great because of government. Ladies and Gentlemen, America is great because of the dynamic of free people working together in a system based on economic liberty and the rule of law, and not because of government. The supporters of this scam want to make government the most important institution in the lives of every American -- every voter --- even more important than the Church or the family!

While I am impressed with his wins he still cannot get my vote. Mr. Obama is a freshman senator from Illinois, with heavy emphasis on "freshman." Although he's got extremely good academic credentials he is extremely inexperienced in national and international politics. The fact that he hasn't been a governor also counts against him--he doesn't have any top-level executive experience in any government unit. The last president that went from being senator to being president was John F. Kennedy, and while I recognize that Mr. Obama and Mr. Kennedy are analagous in some ways, Mr. Kennedy won by a very thin margin.

Senator Barack Obama cannot beat Senator John McCain in the presidential election, because the majority of Caucasian American voters, American Latino voters and Asian-American voters will not vote for Senator Barack Obama if Senator Hillary Clinton is not the presidential nominee of the Democratic Party. Most of the older women behind Senator Hillary Clinton will prefer to vote for Senator John McCain.

Senator Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama have been disrespectful to the older American voters and have made disparaging utterances at their rallies in mockery of these older folks in America for supporting Senator Hillary Clinton. America was not built by the youths of the Internet Age supporting him, but by the older generation who were born before and after the Great Depression. Those who invented the TV and the Computer and built the great roads, bridges, flyovers and towering skyscrapers of the great industries of America from the 1920s to the 1960s when Barack Obama and Michelle Obama were still babies in diapers.

Nuff said.

Yes I Agree. neither will I give my vote over to Senator Obama. He is charismatic and intelligent yes, stil he lacks the whole trial by fire thing. With a time tested political backkground I am positive Mr. Obama will someday make a Amazing chief of staff till then, as you said, It is Mr. McCain for president! He sems to be the lesser of the two evils, not that bad by todays stanards either!

This is why we are in the situation we are in now. Wake up people! This person is probably sitting back living the high life while you struggle to put gas in your car to make it to work in order to keep your family warm. It is time for a change.
